The Need
Currently, program growth is outpacing the capacity of our facilities. Additional classrooms and large studios are required for expanded ensemble programs. Site improvements to strengthen accessibility, pedestrian safety and campus security are critical for an increasingly active school. The heating/air conditioning system must be replaced. The campus expansion and improvements which are needed today are key to the Conservatory's success for the next quarter century and beyond.
The Master Plan
Architectural Resources Group has designed an exceptional campus master plan that provides a road map for the long-term development of the Conservatory's facilities.
We have already completed the first milestone: the acquisition and refurbishment of adjacent property at 130 North Hill Avenue. We will soon be ready to accomplish several additional milestones:
- New classrooms and studios
- Restoration of an architecturally distinctive recital hall
- Addition of a music library and amphitheater courtyard

Current Project Schedule
Construction for the current phase of campus improvements is slated to begin in June of 2013 and be completed by September 2014. The projects which are most critical to the long-term completion of the Master Plan will be addressed during this phase.
Current Project Budget
The current project need is $7.5 Million. As of December 1, 2012, we have received almost $6 Million in gifts, grants and pledges from generous members of the PCM community. We still require $1.5 Million in donations in order to complete the current phase of work. We are asking every member of the PCM Community to contribute to the Milestones Campaign to help us reach our goal.

Join us for a Behind-the Scenes Campus Tour
Please join us for a guided tour of some of the areas of campus you may not often see. You will learn more about the history and programs of the Conservatory and the current and anticipated campus designs. Community members, PCM adult students and families are all welcome on these 50-minute tours.
