Faculty Performances

Compositions by pianist Jo Duell can be heard online at the website of Jeff Kowatch.  The compositions, performed by pianist Susan High, are musical accompanists to several of Kowatch's paintings.

To see and hear Strings Department Co-chair Erika Walczak performing on film visit Cinematic CD and click on Flower. This innovative project in which film makers from around the world were invited to visually “score” a CD is the brainchild of film composer Kubi. The results are online and winners will be screened at Sundance.

Elizabeth Sawitzke is the pianist on a CD of opera arias by Puccini, Verdi, Bizet, Rossini and others sung by soprano Elif Savas.  Savas is a star in Turkey's opera world.  The CD, titled Recital is available at Ms. Savas' website and on Amazon.

Pianist Susan Svrcek will perform Nightstars by Tom Flaherty, Nocturnal No. 2 "Tears"; Pajarillo by Virko Baley, Cyan (west coast premiere) by Jeffrey Holmes, Folk Melodies by Witold Lutoslawski and Organismi by Krzesimir Debski in a Piano Spheres concert on February 19, 2008, in Zipper Concert Hall at the Colburn School of Performing Arts, 200 S.
