Student Recitals
Most Friday nights the Conservatory hosts open student recitals. Students are recommended for these performances by their individual instructors; no audition is necessary. Performance is an integral part of music study, and all non-adult students are expected to perform during the school year.
Some individual departments
may also schedule their own departmental recitals, and auditions may
be required for participation. Click
here to see upcoming departmental recitals.
Adult
learners may also perform on special adult recitals
scheduled quarterly.
Faculty Recitals
The Conservatory is privileged
to have an exceptional faculty,
many of whom maintain performing careers along with their teaching work.
Students are encouraged to come see our teachers perform whenever possible.

Mansions & Music
The Conservatory presents
an annual series of benefit concerts under the collective title of Mansions
and Music. The series has received enthusiastic
community support and is noted for presenting unique musical programs
in remarkable settings. Tickets are $60, and are tax-deductible to the
full extent allowed by law. Funds raised through the series support
the operations of the school. Contact the Conservatory office to receive
invitations to these private events.
Master Classes
The Conservatory's annual
master class series offers
students and lovers of music the opportunity to receive the wisdom of
renowned performers and teachers. It is a golden opportunity for
students to learn on many different levels. There is no admission
fee for Conservatory students and families. Members of the general
public pay a fee of $15.
ArtNight Pasadena
ArtNight
is an ongoing partnership among many cultural institutions
and the Cultural Affairs Division of the City of Pasadena. The event
is sponsored by the Pasadena Arts and Culture Commission. The Conservatory
is honored to participate, and has hosted many ArtNight events.
