Annual Fund

The Conservatory requests support from the community for its annual operations through the Annual Fund. Contributions to this important fund are received and welcomed throughout the year. Thanks to the generosity of our donors the Conservatory has experienced a decade of growth and success in developing outstanding music education programs and in building an enduring institution. We have always operated within our means, and with an established reputation for fiscal discipline, we remain debt-free.

The Conservatory Now, in this time of change and economic uncertainty, we are examining anew why we are here, what it is that we contribute to the community.

Consider the work of the Conservatory:

  • In the Young Musicians program infants and preschoolers experience music-making as listening skills, curiosity and musical aptitude are nurtured;
  • a vibrant and growing population of life-long learners is absorbed in the study of music history or how to play an instrument;
  • hundreds of school age students complement their academic studies with music lessons;
  • high schoolers are prepared to attend outstanding music universities;
  • thousands of third-graders are introduced to the instruments and sounds of a symphony orchestra;
  • an entire elementary school of 800 students participates in a tuition-free year-long sequential music curriculum that is ongoing;
  • financial assistance is provided to those least able to pay for instruction;
  • masterclasses, recitals and concerts are presented free of charge to the community.

The promise and power of music are timeless. Our singular purpose - to provide excellent instruction and exceptional programs - remains unchanged. Your support of the Annual Fund - the cornerstone of our fundraising - advances and sustains our work.
